I'm an anti-oppressive trauma therapist. I work with folks who:
- feel not-good-enough
- feel the crushing weight of others’or your own expectations for yourself and don't know how to let go
- are stuck in patterns of people-pleasing or perfectionism
- just don't like yourself much
- are experiencing anxiety or having panic attacks
- deal with a lot of stress
- can't stop worrying
- are always looking over your shoulder or waiting for something bad to happen
- have a diagnosis of PTSD, Complex PTSD, anxiety, or some other mental health concern and aren't sure what to make of it
- came from difficult family dynamics and want to unpack the impact it's had on them.
As a therapist, I offer:
- non-judgmental healing space
- deeply healing experiences
- tools and strategies you can take with you after therapy is over
- consistent belief in your ability to heal
- information to help make sense of what's going on
- observation of where cultural messages might be showing up
- resources to support yourself or find support
- advice if you want it

I work best with folks who:
- are ready to bravely explore their inner life
- are open to healing exercises and experiences
- want some feedback and information from their therapist
- are ready to go deep in your healing to address the roots of the problems in your life, rather than continuing to address symptoms
The Logistics
I meet with folks by telehealth any where in MD or in-person at my office in the Hampden neighborhood in Baltimore City.
I am out-of-network with all major insurance plans. This means you’re responsible for covering the cost of therapy up front.
If you have out-of-network (OON) benefits with your insurance plan, I can provide a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company to get reimbursement for our sessions, or I work Thrizer, a service that will do this on your behalf to make it easier for you. They can also check your insurance plan so you have an idea of what to expect from your benefits. 55-minute sessions are $245. Folks pay anywhere from $27-$145 per appointment after meeting deductibles with OON benefits. Your benefits will depend on your plan.
